Painting Beginners
Every painter has started from somewhere and while it might be difficult to imagine that when looking at a gorgeous painting, this is useful for aspiring painters who need to establish their skills and self-esteem. The first stages of a painting can be confusing, so here are some basic tips for painting beginners:
It is a common practice for artists to start with drawing and then to proceed to paint. Thus, you will learn how to master techniques and will learn from your mistakes.

If you don’t like drawing much, let that not discourage you and find your true passion in colour. The aspiring artists are welcome to experiment with the different types of paint, such as acrylic, pastel, water-based oils, oils and watercolour as this will teach them the main differences between the types and will let them find their unique style and preference. Most artists start with acrylics as they dry quickly and it’s easy to paint over any mistakes done. The surface is also of importance paper, board or canvas the choice is yours.

Painting beginners are often confused about the brand of paint they should buy. This is a strictly personal issue as more often than not it depends on the artist’s budget. You need to remember that not every painting will turn out great and you should not be bothered by the money you have wasted on paint in order to practise and experiment. Find a brand that is within your budget limits and treat yourself with some high-quality expensive paint when you feel like it, or when you decide to pass on that bespoke designer suit. Remember that painting requies talent, ideas, imagination, but also perseverence and sometimes a lot of hard work, so have realistic expectations and try to enjoy yourself by all means.
